Monday, August 10 Changes to bus routes using Bay 12 at Bellevue Transit Center
Construction at Bellevue Transit Center will close bus bay 12 on 108th Avenue NE beginning on Monday, Aug. 10. King County Metro Route 249 to South Kirkland will pick up passengers at temporary stop 3, on the east side of 110th Avenue NE, south of NE 6th Street. Route 249 to South Bellevue will drop off passengers at bus bay 1. Route 550 to Seattle will pick up passengers at temporary stop 2 on the west side of 110th Avenue NE, south of NE 6th Street.
During the closure, crews will repaint bus bay 12 as part of the refurbishment of the Bellevue Transit Center for improved passenger access ahead of launching Stride service. During the work, we will maintain the shuttle parking area just south of the bus bay.
Additionally, Sound Transit’s fall service change will begin on Saturday, Aug. 29. Many ST Express bus routes will change, ranging from discontinued routes to major and minor service adjustments to enhance reliability.

Temporary bus stops for Routes 249 and 550 during Bellevue Transit Center construction:
