From Washington State Dept. of Transportation:

Monday, Aug. 28, WSDOT will open new westbound lanes on the West Approach Bridge North. Westbound drivers headed to I-5 will no longer curve to the left at the end of the floating bridge, but will drive straight onto the new West Approach Bridge North structure.  The new section of SR 520 will have two general-purpose lanes and an HOV lane.

Before opening the lanes, SR 520 will close over the weekend in both directions between Montlake Boulevard and 92 Avenue Northeast. The full closure will start 11 p.m., Friday, Aug. 25, and end at 5 a.m., Monday, Aug. 28.

Interested in learning more? Join us for our monthly meeting on Wednesday, Aug. 9, at the Graham Visitor Center at 5:30 p.m. Stop by to hear a short presentation about the upcoming changes and meet with our project team.
