An idea that I have set up, facilitated by our great network engineers, is setting up an internal (to the company) mailing list that is used for and by people looking for carpool/vanpool partners, as well as any information on transportation issues, such as FlexPasses and the like. A company transportation web page is also in the works. In every e-mail that I send out company wide, I include a link to that mailing list, as well as positive comments, such as \"Save time and money, carpool!\" no matter what the issue.
